Power Generator Field Service Coordinator
Bronx, NY OR Medford, NY
Pay : $63,000 - $80,000 / year(dependent on prior relevant experience)

Key Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years' management experience in coordinating labor schedules2 years' technical experience (mechanical or electrical) preferredPower systems experience with troubleshooting and / or repair of electrical equipment (generator, ATS, switchgear) AC / DC, and diesel engine troubleshooting and repair preferredStrong computer skills and comfortable with new technology to manage service communications and related business processesStrong communication and organization skillsClean & valid driver's license requiredThis position requires off-hour on-call availability (by phone only), including weekends and holidaysIf based in Medford, occasional travel to Bronx location as needed
Responsibilities
Successfully coordinate service calls to provide field service of recognized superior value.
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders on work to be performed, changes required in scope of work, job status, etc.Coordinate and manage work schedule for internal and external work, including timely completion of CSAsMaximize technician utilization by effectively scheduling, planning, and assigning workCoordinate resources required for technicians, including parts and toolingPerform and assist Power Systems Service Manager with service processes.
Efficiently invoice jobs on a daily basis utilizing customer invoice reporting system as requiredAssist EPG Service Manager in overseeing technician performance on jobs to ensure effective, efficient completion in a profitable and safe mannerEnsure work orders are promptly opened and that labor, parts, and related charges are recorded on the proper segmentsReview completed work orders for accuracy and proper warranty information in preparation of invoicingCollaborate with Power Systems Service team.
Manage customer support contracts with respect to customer reporting and invoicing requirements and follow up with CSA Coordinator as neededCommunicate additional work required from CSA inspections to sales repsAct as a back-up to Billing Clerk for payrollThis position requires off-hour on-call (by phone only) availability.This is a fast-paced and dynamic position scheduling and dispatching Generator Service Technicians across the entire New York Metro area. The Generator Field Service Coordinator position also offers opportunities for growth, advancement, and training.
