Store Leader/Manager on Duty

Responsibilities

As an experienced team member who has held a leadership position in QSR or a food store. You will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the shop, recuirting and managing its employees to deliver results in revenue, profit and operational excellence with excellent customer service.

·Adhere to Food Safety, Health, and company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs

· Responsible for ensuring a consistent high quality of food preparation and service

· Supervise during shift all the portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste

· Ensure positive guest service and positive team environment

· Maintain professional shop image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards

· Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and store assets

· Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents

· Manage shifts which include: daily decision making , filling in or finding replacement while upholding standards, quality, and cleanliness

· Investigate and resolve complaints concerning service and food quality

· Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues

· Support Owner with hiring, supervision, development, scheduling and termination of employees, when necessary

· Conduct orientations and oversee training of employees

· Develop new employees by providing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and by conducting performance reviews

Complete Haagen-Dazs University certification within 90 days.

Requirements:

• Full availability to work on weekends and evenings.
• Minimum 2 yrs prior leadership role experience in fast pace environment in any food store.

Responsibilities

Prepare frozen desserts that include ice cream scoops, Dazzlers, Shakes, Smoothies and Cakes

Leading sampling and drive sales via upselling

Operate the point-of-sale register, processing orders and accepting payments

Clean up and organize customer area, production area, and back-room / storage

Prepare and re-stock ingredients

Perform all activities outlined in shift management procedures

Be attentive and extremely courteous to our guests

Be knowledgeable and capable of describing key attributes of the Häagen-Dazs product to guests

Be knowledgeable of all recipes presented in the menu

Weigh all cups and ingredients in our recipes before mixing and/or serving the guests

Follow the correct ice cream scooping method

Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance

Report to work on time and as scheduled, wearing a complete uniform

Sampling and leading awesome Guest service experience.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to work morning shifts in weekdays

Must be able to lift 35 pounds.

Must be able to stand for long periods.

Willing to perform all assigned activities

Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment

Ability to resolve guest concerns with empathy and care

Nice to have if you speak and communicate in Spanish with customers.
