What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at HAC SOLUTIONS?
Job Description:
- Install, terminate, and test COAX, Cat6, and fiber cables according to specifications.
- Installation of assorted patch panels with cable dressing.
- Experience with fiber rough-in and termination is highly desirable.
- Install support structures (j-hooks and racks)
- Prior experience installing A/V hardware including speakers, TVs, and other equipment a plus but will train.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Technicians must possess their own basic hand tools including pliers, snips, punch-down tool, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to follow instructions from the team lead effectively.
- Comfortable with ladder climbing.
- Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening before commencing work.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to various work sites across the Denver-Metro area.
- Positive and professional work ethic and demeanor.
- Must currently live in Colorado
Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
- Openness to work overtime, occasional nights, and weekends as required.
