What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horse Farm Hand - Full or Part Time position at Haile Equestrian LLC?
Farm hand needed in Gainesville/Archer, FL. Duties will include feeding horses, cleaning stalls, bringing horses to/from the pastures, assisting students in getting horses ready for lessons (grooming, tacking, hosing, etc), general facility upkeep (sweeping, tidying common areas), light maintenance (fixing fence boards, weedeating, cleanup). Must have horse experience and be comfortable handling horses of all ages. Seeking a self-starter that works efficiently and interacts professionally with our clients. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive between facilities, farm truck provided for on farm work. Full time 5 days per week set schedule preferred, part time minimum 25 hours per week. Weekends required. Holidays required, but will be shorter shifts to take care of the basic needs of the horses.
