Summary
Operates a variety of machines used in the production of air compressors, valves, clutches and water pumps.Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of multi-purpose metal working machines, ie; automatic screw machine, drill press, bore and hone, turret lathe, centerless grinder, air and arbor press, mills, punch press, etc
- Possess excellent math skills
- Perform inspection of parts by use of highly accurate measuring instruments ie; micrometers, dial gauges, calipers, etc
- Read and interpret blueprints and dimensional drawing
- Move stock using hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Move tote boxes, trays, bins and other types of containers as required
- Adhere to plant Safety Program and policies
- Perform counts as required
- Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment
- Understand and actively participate in Haldex Way activities
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor

- Must be able to stand, walk or sit for the period of a regularly scheduled work day
- Must be able to bend over, grasp, push and pull heavy loads as required
- Must be able to use pneumatic tools, hand tools and various other machines such as electronic testers, manual testers, vices, presses, etc. as required
