General Maintenance
Up to 19 hours weekly
This position is non-exempt from the minimum wage and time card provisions of the Fair Labor Standards act as amended.
This position is responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of the building.
Duties include:
Housekeeping: Restrooms, trash, corridors, and vacuum.
Grounds keeping: Outdoors to be free of debris and trash.
Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
Qualifications:
Compassionate about cleaning.
Personal warmth and the ability to communicate with consumers.
Experience:
Work experience should show progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires lifting, standing, bending, walking and climbing stairs. Must be physically able to perform efficiently the duties of the position.
Other requirements:
Provide consent and necessary information for a criminal background check.
Consents and submits to drug testing according to agency policy and procedures.
Provide a current TB clearance and verification of Hepatitis B Vaccination.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
