Full Job Description
Halterman's Toyota Mitsubishi is seeking a Lot Attendant to maintain our inventory. Lot Attendants are responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of our Dealership lot, keeping a neat and professional display of vehicles for sale. Lot Attendants are also responsible for stocking in new vehicles delivered to the dealership and moving vehicles on and off the lot as requested.
Job Description
- Organize and maintain the display of new and used vehicles for sale.
- Picture and video vehicles for display on our websites.
- Move vehicles as directed by supervisor; fill holes in inventory, straighten rows and relocate service vehicles.
- Verify the receipt of vehicles delivered to the dealership, ensuring all standard items are present and vehicles are not damaged.
- Pickup and/or deliver vehicles from/to other locations.
- Start all vehicles periodically; check vehicles on the lot to make sure they are locked and no damage has been done; ensure vehicles are filled up with gas.
- Place stickers and sale flags on vehicles as directed.
- Pull vehicles out of inventory and stage for pick up.
- During winter months, keep doorways shoveled, salted and cleared; clear snow and ice from cars in lot.
- Pick up trash off lot & put in dumpsters.
Candidates applying for this position must have good organizational skills and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. We are looking for someone who is energetic and willing to work hard to make sure the team succeeds.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record according to dealership standards
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Positive attitude, good judgment, honesty and integrity
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles
- Must be able to drive both automatic & manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to work in all temperatures and weather conditions, this position requires you to be outdoors for most of the day
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must have an attention for detail and be organized
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
