Truck Wash Technician

Halvor Lines is seeking a Full-time Truck Wash Technician in Superior, WI. The Truck Wash Technician is responsible for safety and efficiently washing and detailing all vehicles and equipment.

Truck Wash Technician: Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain wash bay facility to ensure safety and proper functioning of all equipment.
• Wash vehicles and equipment.
• Maneuver equipment in and out of building and facility.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of washing facility.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and practices.
• Ability to achieve goals set forth by management.
• Attends work consistently. Requests time off per policy.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Truck Wash Technician: Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to interface positively and professionally with drivers and other individuals.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate and carry-out duties and responsibilities in an environment with constant interruptions, moving trucks, and other distractions.
• Must be flexible and patient in dealing with changing situations.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Ability to follow directions and to work safely at all times.

Truck Wash Technician: Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Requires moving, standing, and physical activity for long periods of time (95%).
• Requires ability to communicate clearly.
• Must be able to perform effectively under pressure in situations requiring last-minute scheduling.
• Frequent exposure to high noise levels and hot to cold temperatures.
• Clothing will get soiled due to nature of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
