Job Summary
The position of Warehouse Worker is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
Primary Responsibilities
· Operating back room equipment, pallet jack, fork lift, baler, compactor and scrub machine
· Control inventory and informing procurement managers of low inventory levels
· Ensure that all shelves are properly stocked with the right items
· Receives products coming into the building by vendors or customers accurately and promptly
· Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies
· To accurately place products on shelves, in racks, coolers, or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner
· Assembles, and fills orders to be shipped to customers
· Preparation of all shipping documentation
· Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis
· Safely operate all the necessary equipment in wok area (fork lift, pallet jack)
· Performs final production processing such as cleaning, marking, inspection, wrapping, and packing of parts and other tasks as required.
Requirement Qualifications
· Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
· Able to read, write, and do simple math problems
· Able to interpret, understand and follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· 1-2 years related experience
· Bilingual Spanish/English
Physical Requirements
· Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
· Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
· Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
· Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection
