What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiology position at Hamilton Cardiology Associates?
We are seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Or Physician Assistant (PA) to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- At least three years experience in cardiology as an APN or Physician Assistant
- Strong clinical skills; able to see patients independently in the hospital and office setting
- See a minimal average of 10-15 patients/daily
- Perform stress testing
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic cardiac illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- At least three years experience in cardiology as an APN or Physician Assistant
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
