Responsibilities
Works with the school’s cafeteria team to serve students healthy, tasty meals.
- Assists in preparing foods by following recipes and instructions to ensure quality and freshness
- Operates various machinery and equipment to prepare food
- Sets up and maintains serving lines and serves students
- Practices food safety
- Provides quality customer service to students
- Cleans and maintains kitchen
- Performs other related duties as required
Must be willing and able to:
- Work with a sense of urgency
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Follow instructions
- Work well with other team members
- Crosstrain as needed
- Clean, including regular cleaning tasks and periodic deep clean projects
- Lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
HS diploma or GED not required
Shift: 5.50 hours a day
Eligible for prorated leave benefits after one
year of employment
