Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification):
  • Employees are expected to work on-site at 800 Broadway during standard business hours.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management or Statistics.
  • 2 years of experience writing SQL, PSQL queries.
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel. Working with complex formulas, pivot tables, charts and VBA.
  • 2 years of working experience with SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Experience in one or more of the following Tableau, Power BI, Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management or Statistics.
  • 5 years of experience writing complex SQL statements.
  • 2 years of scripting experience.
  • 3 years of working experience with SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer
  • 5 years of Experienced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Working with complex formulas, pivot table and charting and VBA.
Special Working Conditions and/or Hazards:
  • Employees work indoors and are protected from weather conditions or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.
Job Duties:
  • Interfaces with users/staff of all levels of the Court.
  • Ability to write and interpret SQL statements to perform and deliver data analysis and reporting.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Support and administer JCMS case management System. Which includes updating documentation, testing and user administration.
  • Create and maintain data dictionary.
  • Provide updates and explanations of existing reporting packages.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources.
  • Ability to analyze and provide details on existing reports.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with court leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

  • Must possess analytical skills/abilities, which include: Ability to assess technical and/or other types of situations, seeks multiple perspectives, and if necessary, gathers more information to arrive at appropriate solutions.
  • Must possess clerical/administrative skills/abilities, which include: Ability to type reasonably well and maintain good organizational practices.
  • Must possess project/process management skills/abilities, which include the ability to manage assigned projects and communicate to staff at all levels of the Court.
  • Must possess written and oral communication skills/abilities, which include: Ability to communicate appropriately, efficiently and effectively with staff at all levels of the Court and contract personnel.
  • Must possess knowledge skills/abilities, which include experience with SQL Developer, Microsoft Access, Tableau, Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
