Marketing Operations & Performance Manager
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)
Reports To: Director of Brand Growth
Status: Full-Time | Exempt
About the Role
The Marketing Operations & Performance Manager is the operational and executional backbone of the marketing department. This role owns the presale marketing engine, oversees presale paid media performance, manages presale marketing systems and workflows, and ensures flawless cross-functional execution as Hammer & Nails accelerates toward 100 shop openings in 2026.
This role is about performance, process, precision, and presale execution.
This person ensures that every presale campaign launches on time, that every FZ has what they need, that every workflow runs smoothly, and that every KPI is tracked and optimized.
They own: ✔ structure ✔ timelines ✔ data ✔ presales ✔ executional accuracy
Key Responsibilities
PRESALE MARKETING (Primary Responsibility)
● Build and manage all presale marketing workflows
● Daily monitoring of presale lead flow and campaign performance
● Optimize presale KPIs (CPL, CTR, conversion rate, lead quality)
● Coordinate messaging cadence, landing pages, and creative QA
● Manage presale calendars, budgets, and asset releases
● Own weekly presale reporting for leadership, Ops, and ARs
● Identify underperforming markets and trigger escalations
MARKETING OPERATIONS
● Own all marketing workflows and campaign pipelines inside Monday.com
● Create and maintain SOPs, templates, and repeatable processes
● Manage the AR marketing ticketing system (requests, triage, SLA adherence)
● Build scalable systems for presales and ongoing campaigns
● Ensure clear communication between Marketing, Ops, Franchise Development, and ARs
● Drive alignment across all internal and external stakeholders
PERFORMANCE & ANALYTICS
● Manage dashboards for presale KPIs, paid media, franchise development, and shop-level metrics
● Analyze lead quality, cost per lead, cost per founding member, conversion rates, and ROAS
● Provide insights and optimization recommendations to leadership weekly
● Run monthly performance reviews with agency partners and ARs
● Identify trends and opportunities to improve efficiency and speed-to-open
AR SUPPORT & ENABLEMENT
● Own the AR support workflow for presale marketing-related needs
● Maintain presale templates, checklists, and SOPs for AR/GM use
● Monitor AR compliance with presale timelines and brand standards
● Troubleshoot presale campaign issues and coordinate solutions
● Route escalations to Marketing leadership
MARKETING, VENDOR & AGENCY EXECUTION
● Hold agencies accountable to preasle KPIs, timelines, and reporting standards
● Ensure accurate and timely presale performance reporting
● Manage local store marketing presale programs as assigned
● Support additional presale marketing initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
● 5 plus years in marketing operations, digital marketing, paid media, or performance management
● Experience with franchise systems, multi-location brands, or high-volume marketing operations is required.
● Deep understanding of paid media (Meta/Google) and KPI optimization
● Highly proficient in project management tools (Monday.com preferred)
● Analytical mindset; able to interpret data and convert insights into action
● Exceptional organizational skills; able to manage multiple concurrent openings
● Excellent communicator with strong cross-functional relationship skills
● Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
