Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and driven Self Storage Facility Manager to handle daily operations and ensure the facility is well maintained, efficiently run, and provides a great experience for our tenants. This role is hands-on and combines customer service, sales, and property operations, with responsibilities both in the office and throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day operations. Flexibility to assist at other nearby facilities when needed is important, while maintaining consistent standards across locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily facility operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist customers with rentals, questions, payments, and account support while providing excellent service.
- Conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
- Maintain common areas, units, and grounds in a clean and professional condition.
- Monitor office and maintenance supplies and coordinate reordering as needed.
- Stay informed on local competitors and market conditions to support pricing and occupancy goals.
- Guide prospective tenants through unit selection and complete lease agreements accurately.
- Process leases, payments, and required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Enforce lease terms, facility rules, and safety guidelines consistently and professionally.
- Manage delinquent accounts and handle collections in a respectful and timely manner.
- Provide operational support at other facility locations as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in self storage, property management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills for payment processing and account handling.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel between facility locations as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with SiteLink or similar management software preferred.
- Experience with collections or accounts receivable is a plus.
Schedule
- Full-time position, typically 8-hour shifts.
- Availability required on weekdays and weekends.
- Morning and daytime shifts preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
