What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Manager position at Hampton by Hilton Richland/Tri-Cities?
Award-winning Hampton Inn Richland/Tri-Cities is looking to hire a customer-service minded and energetic member to the team as our Front Office Manager. This position is responsible for overall success of the hotel as well as ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. This position manages all areas of the hotel in accordance with company standards. This position is expected to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service, product quality, and provide exemplary performance for the staff to follow.
Directly responsible for the Front Desk team, this position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Oversee all front desk activities
· Training front desk agents
· Hiring/terminating of front desk staff
· Ensure that all front desk personnel files are up to date
· Annual reviews for all front desk personnel
· Scheduling of front desk staff and/or reviewing schedule to ensure proper coverage
· Work front desk shifts
· Must be able to pull night audit shifts in case of emergency
· Discipline/coach/counsel front desk staff
· Communicate with night audit
· Ordering office supplies for hotel
· Ordering all front desk supplies
· Coding invoices
· Handle account receivables, including setting up/checking references on direct bill accounts
· Conflict resolution for any guest concerns or needs that may arise
· Fulfill role of Manager on Duty in absence of GM
· Additional duties as assigned or requested by management.
This position requires a flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends as needed by the demands of the hotel’s occupancy and business. Experience with managing or supervising a hotel front desk team is preferred.
