Housekeeping Room Attendant Overview:

First impressions are everything! As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every guest, ensuring guestrooms are comfortable, inviting, and clean. A housekeeping room attendant promotes a positive image of the property, ensuring a memorable guest experience.

What you will be doing:

Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean and address all guest requests.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Greeting guests and responding to queries.
• Changing bed linen and making beds.
• Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Emptying trash containers.
• Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Updating status of guest rooms to Supervisors or Managers.
• Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Returning and restocking cleaning supplies at shift end.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
