What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Room Attendant/Housekeeping position at Hampton Inn and Suites?
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and common areas in accordance with hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
