Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely manner, providing solutions to enhance their stay.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and provide information as needed.
- Process reservations and manage room assignments using hotel management software.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous but not required.
