Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. Duties
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Oversee staff training and development to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
- Implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Supervise kitchen management, ensuring that food production meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols.
- Lead team management efforts by conducting interviews, hiring new employees, and managing shift schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to develop menu items that reflect current trends in the food industry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and training & development.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight within a hospitality setting.
- Ability to effectively manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in supervising staff and managing shifts effectively is essential.
