What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at Hampton Inn?
The Hampton Inn is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Breakfast Attendant.
The main responsibilities of this position include: To provide guest food and beverage service in a safe and aesthetic manner for breakfasts, hospitality hours, and/or meeting rooms.
Other Duties include but are not limited to:
- Practices customer service behaviors, such as listening, initiative, responsiveness, cheerfulness, accommodation, courtesy, honesty, and professionalism.
- Demonstrates positive Team spirit providing assistance to other Team members as necessary to achieve required standards of productivity and guest care.
- Makes decisions in the best interest of the property and in compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
- Ensures the breakfast service is set up and maintained by time designated by company/brand policies.
- Prepares/replenishes items maintaining quality of the presentation and choice with attention to guest count in house.
- Organizes, cleans, and stocks food and beverage storage and service areas as needed.
- Completes food/hygiene certification where required by state laws.
- Sets up meeting rooms as per brand/company/property policy and as per customer requirements as identified on meeting room sales documentation.
- Reports inventory shortages to Front Office Manager or General Manager.
- Controls costs by properly using department supplies, water, and electricity.
- Ensures safe use of chemicals and equipment in accordance with the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and manufacturer’s instructions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
