What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Tech, Full or Part Time position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide ultrasound services per provider order in the hospital. Assists in the scheduling and completes all Ultrasound/Vascular procedures as described in the policy and procedure manual; assists in the coordination of procedures with the radiologist and interpreting physicians.
HOURS:
Full or Part Time hours available, Monday - Friday
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certifications and Permits to Practice in Iowa must be provided. Must hold a certification from RDMS for abdomen, OB, and breast or willing to seek certifications. Must be board eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required at hire/transfer. Must have good computer skills. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED.
