What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher position at Hanover Area YMCA?
The Hanover Area YMCA is hiring Preschool Teachers and Aides for our Early Learning Center.
The Y provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Part and Full time positions available - Both Monday - Friday. Benefits for full-time employees include health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement, Y membership facility access, and program discounts.

Aides require a high school diploma; teachers need an AA or BA degree and 2500 hours experience working with children.
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training are required within 30 days of hire date.
PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse History Background, FBI Fingerprint clearances and NSOR needed to start.
Pay is $10 to $16 an hour depending on degree and experience
Sign-on bonus available after 90 days of employment.
Applicants should have the ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
