Job Description
We are a 50-year-old well established designer & manufacturer of high precision electrical rotating machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting a variety of super-precision metal parts using a variety of precision tools and gauges to exacting specifications.
To be considered, applicants must have experience with high precision machined metal parts.
EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge & understanding of materials & metallurgy
- Machine shop experience working with mills & lathes
- Ability and experience reading and/ or drafting manufacturing drawings
- Manage work load to meet due dates and foreman expectations
- Ability to use high-precision inspection and measurement instruments
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect parts to ensure precise conformance as specified by engineering print
- Maintain tools, inspection logs, and records as required
- Maintain professional working relationships
EDUCATION
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Advanced education or training in an electro-mechanical field
- 2-4 year Engineering or Technical degree highly desirable
