What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Recovery Generalist position at HAPO Community Credit Union Career Site?
We are now accepting applications for the Asset Recovery Generalist position.
This position is unique in that it’s a hybrid position responsible for handling a number of different high-level tasks from all areas of the department. They will be the primary Bankruptcy specialist back up first and foremost. In addition, they will be handling certain Repo Support tasks such as putting vehicles out to repo and help Loan Charge off Recovery with things like posting recovery payments, during staff leaves, extended vacations, or at management discretion. They will help with collector tasks like title release questions, working insurance claims and gap claims, handle incoming department emails.

- Complete understanding of all collection regulations
- Professional written and verbal communication required
- Demonstrates attention to detail and has a track record of producing work that is accurate
- Ability to enter data in spreadsheets accurately
- Jump from one task to the next with little notice or retraining
- Able to communicate and work professionally with all areas of the department
- Meets expectation on attendance and punctuality
- Occasional Saturdays are required depending on Month End
