What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Happy at Home Health Care?
RN Field Nurse
As a RN Field Nurse your job will entail:
- Comprehensive/Full Patient assessment including physical, mental, social aspects
- Assessing all medication regimen, effectiveness, knowledge, teaching, administering when needed.
- Establish realistic measurable, observable goals consistent with the patient’s diagnosis, and developing the care plan interventions needed to meet these goals as an interdisciplinary team
- Skilled procedures including IV, injections, wound care, catheter changes, labs, etc.
- Providing service in patients homes, with family and patient participation in plan of care.
- Coordinating care needs between disciplines, supervising LVN and CNA services provided in the home
- Being a teacher and a resource to the patients and family to increase their ability to take care of themselves in the home
- Demonstrate professional conduct, service excellence and commitment to the values.
- Flexibility with the schedule and patient's routines/requests
- Time management skills to get patient care and the required documentation done in a timely manner. OASIS data documentation.
- must have at least a year of nursing experience
- prefer home health experience but not required
- Must be able to learn and adapt to a computer based system of documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour

- Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Acute Care: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- RN (Preferred)
