WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS:
As our Veterinary Assistant, each day revolves around providing compassionate care to our beloved animal companions. Your responsibilities include warmly welcoming and assisting clients and their pets, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. You meticulously gather and maintain detailed medical histories, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment. Assisting in surgeries and performing dental and full-body radiographs are integral parts of your daily tasks, promoting both oral and overall health. Your dedication extends to maintaining precise medical records and researching treatment options, all aimed at achieving the best outcomes for our furry patients. Building strong, trusting relationships with clients is key to creating a supportive environment for the well-being of their cherished pets!
This position works a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM, with weekends.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Veterinary knowledge
Having 2 years of experience in a similar role or basic knowledge is preferred! Being experienced with pocket pets is a bonus but not necessary. We are getting very busy, so having some understanding in assisting would be great. However, we're willing to train the right person with drive, motivation, empathy, compassion, and, most importantly, excellent customer service skills.
