Position Overview
As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies for both our agency and our diverse client portfolio. This role requires a perfect blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to maintain brand consistency while driving engagement and growth across all social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines
- Manage and grow social media presence across multiple platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook)
- Create and curate engaging content, including written copy, images, and videos
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency and message alignment
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics and campaign performance
- Stay current with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms
- Manage client relationships and present social media strategies and results
- Oversee community management and engage with followers across all platforms
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of content calendars
- Lead influencer outreach and relationship management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of professional social media management experience
- Proven track record of growing and engaging social media communities
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.)
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices
Desired Skills
- Experience in a creative agency or similar fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and basic design principles
- Knowledge and experience with Canva
- Experience with paid social media advertising
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
- Project management experience
- Video editing and production skills
