Title: Loan Operations Administrator

I. Summary:
The Loan Operations Administrator performs lead duties related to the servicing of retail, residential and commercial loans. Primary duties will include maintenance of loan files, loan documentation, customer billing, and the set-up of customer accounts, while maintaining loan ticklers and providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
II. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides outstanding service to borrowers, vendors, and all parties related to loan servicing.
- Setup new loans in the company system, and perform maintenance functions as received from administration.
- Process payments and payables such as returned checks, participation payments, property tax, ground rents, flood insurance premiums, and various others.
- Pull reports from the system; research and resolve non-post and pending items.
- Process pay-offs, and refunds as requested by the customer or Title Company.
- Maintains tickler system for insurance and financial statements.
- Funds commercial, retail and residential loans and advances on the loan system.
- Process disbursements and wire transfers on all loans.
- Works with collector to research delinquent account information and provide necessary information to ensure timely collection.
- Reconciliation of various general ledger accounts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Review daily system generated reports to ensure that loans and related general ledger accounts are properly maintained.
- Process CDC and New Market Tax Credit payments.
- Initiate escrow disbursements and review escrow analysis for all escrow accounts regarding taxes, insurance, ground rents and other request as needed.
- Process and complete escrow account maintenance in the loan system.
- Communicate with various insurance agencies to obtain renewals of existing insurance policies and initiate forced place insurance with the bank’s blanket insurance coverage, for any canceled policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Able to work with minimum direct supervision, and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong analytical skills necessary to understand various types of loans and general transactions,
IV. Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience required in loan operations and servicing.
- Working knowledge of State and Federal regulatory requirements and general banking compliance requirements pertaining to commercial, real estate and consumer loans is preferred.
- Working knowledge of general loan operations procedures is preferred.
- Must be detail oriented, able to multi task, and possess strong problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with database software.
