What you will be doing
Responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver Excellent guest service! Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Welcome guests and assit them in their dining needs, seat guests and manage the seating chart, monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow, perform opening and closing duties, as needed, assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner. Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
Requirements
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills with some laundry experience preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following:regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months related experience and/or training.
