Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Marlton, NJ.
The primary purpose of the Commercial Lines Account Manager is to service the assigned book of business of clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with producers to provide guidance to clients through the policy year and renewal cycle on assigned accounts.
- Process all change requests from assigned clients.
- Assist insured through audit process and disputes when necessary
- Research and respond to all client and carrier inquiries.
- Submit First Notice of Loss to carrier and assist CAE in claim resolution.
- Review the expiration list to and take appropriate action on each policy utilizing the Agency Management System.
- Prepare schedules of insurance for assigned accounts
- Complete renewal proposals for accounts renewing with incumbent carrier.
- Use industry knowledge to support and guide clients in evaluating and making business decisions.
- Work with the Risk Management/Marketing department when new business is written or current business is moved to a new carrier.
- Must adhere to Agency & Department policies and procedures as well as insurers regulations.
- Perform other assignments/projects at Manager’s request.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-5 years insurance experience. Preferred
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance. Required
- Must maintain a New Jersey Producer License (Property & Casualty) Required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and timely both verbally and in writing.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must provide prompt & accurate responses.
