Hardin County Water District No. 2 is seeking candidates for a Water Treatment Plant Operator Trainee. This is an entry level position and does not require experience, training will be provided. We do encourage anyone with a Science related degree to apply. This will allow the employee to fast track the path to becoming a certified operator.
The responsibilities of this position include performing all plant operations under the supervision of a state certified operator. Daily operations include but are not limited to lab testing, treating water, monitoring flows and record keeping. Controls system pressures and tank levels using a computer and telemetry data. Maintains the overall appearance of treatment plant.
