We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Wrapper/Meat Cutter trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat preparation. As a Meat Wrapper/Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
• Ensure all meat products are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Operate knives and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders and meet customer demands.
• Monitor inventory levels of meat products and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Needs to be able to lift up to 50lbs

Skills

• Proven experience in food production or culinary roles, with a focus on meat cutting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Proficient knife skills with an understanding of various cutting techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with packaging procedures for meat products.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
