What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Projects Sales Representative position at Hardy Corporation?
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting a variety of client activities, specializing in contracts with commercial and industrial HVAC clients. The Special Projects Sales Representative has primary responsibility to secure client relationships that fit the Hardy Corporation core client criteria.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities by prospecting for new clients
- Develop effective relationships and rapport with key client personnel
- Provide superior customer service to make customer do “whatever it takes to work with Hardy.”
- Expand operational capability by communicating organizational services to existing clients, both Hardy Corporation and Hardy Services
- Collaborate with interoffice personnel to generate estimates, quotes, and proposals for acquired business opportunities
- Develop strategies to consistently identify opportunities to increase revenue streams
- Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with all appropriate informational updates
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Building Science is preferred
- 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC sales required
- Operational understanding of HVAC components and systems required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required
