| Job Description | The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Director for Grants for Harford Community College. This is accomplished by managing grant compliance; maintaining and adhering to budgets, updating and maintaining records and reports; communicating with grantors and grantees and working with the Project Directors or Principal Investigators; managing Time and Effort reporting; prospecting grant opportunities and funders, and assisting with the Grants for Innovation Program. The Grant Associate will also serve as the alternate grants lead in the absence of the Director for Grants and provides general support to the Office for Institutional Advancement, including managing transfer scholarship programs. This is a non-exempt staff position. Includes a comprehensive benefits package offering medical, dental and vision coverage; generous paid time off; tuition assistance; and retirement savings. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement. |
