What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology - Information Technology Coordinator position at Harkins Theatres?

Perform administrative and clerical duties and assist in the coordination of internal processes, systems and vendor relationships for the information technology department. Provides support and coordination between the Information Technology, Legal, and Accounting departments to ensure that all contracts, purchase orders and invoices are processed and maintained per company standards.
Essential Functions
  • Performs administrative and clerical duties including creating purchase orders, reviewing and submitting invoices, filing, and coordinating meetings.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, including procurement and price management of services, software and equipment.
  • Assists the vice president.
  • Manages IT helpdesk tickets to resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Communicates with users to ensure up-to-date information regarding projects and problems.
  • Assists with maintaining documentation, manuals, and licensing for software systems and equipment, construction projects and other types of manuals and documentation.
  • Creates and maintains department reports, contracts, agreements, and other supporting documentation to support the company’s records management processes.
  • Maintains department budgets and provides updates as needed.
  • Regular attendance and physical presence at the work site.
  • Sets high standards for self while maintaining company standards, policies, and procedures to ensure delivery of the ultimate moviegoing experience at all times.
  • Maintains a professional working environment while setting a positive and professional example.
Additional Duties
  • Assists with documenting, testing, managing and implementing project and processes.
  • Special projects, as assigned.
Education/Skills/Experience
  • High School diploma/5-years administrative experiences. 5-years experience working in an IT department a plus.
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Internet research. Publisher, Project and Access preferred.
  • Guest services experience preferred.
  • Telephone system operations experience a plus.
  • Capable of remaining calm and using good judgment in elevating situations.
  • Diplomacy with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to prioritize and work on multiple projects and tasks with frequent interruptions while maintaining flexibility and composure.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment and discretion in maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Maintains a professional attitude and demeanor. Demonstrates unimpeachable integrity and accountability. Communicates professionally in all circumstances.
