Job Summary : As a Direct Care Specialist at Harmony-Haven, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, enhancing their quality of life and enabling them to live comfortably in their own environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Help with home management tasks including cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and support during daily activities, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Monitor and record the client’s condition; providing updates to the Homecare Manager and other healthcare professionals.
- Medication reminder (medication administration is not allowed)
- Support the emotional and social needs of clients, acting as a listener, supporter, and companion.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social events as required.
- Maintain professional and confidential handling of all client information.
