My client is a leading organization in the education sector, based in New York. I am seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Technology to support my client’s mission by leading their Technology Operations and driving impactful technology solutions across their network.
The Role | Head of Technology:
Reporting to the Head of Data and Infrastructure, the Head of Technology will oversee Technology Operations, including Help Desk, Systems Administration, Network Engineering, and Device Management. This highly visible role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to transition from a reactive support model to a proactive, user-focused technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Establishing a cohesive Technology Operations function with measurable performance metrics.
- Developing a long-term vision and actionable short-term strategies for technology operations.
- Managing vendor relationships for critical tools and services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships across schools and central office teams.
- Driving process improvements to enhance service levels and operational efficiency for hardware and software support.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of experience in senior technology management roles.
- Proven track record in leading help desks, device management, and systems administration teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
