Harris Beach Murtha is seeking a Technical Support Specialist (Help Desk) to join our Information Technology team. You will THRIVE in this role if you have:
- 3 years of experience in IT support, including network, customer, and systems support
- A college degree or certification in IT or Computer Science (preferred)
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Office 2016/365, and conferencing tools like Jabber, Teams, and Webex
- Familiarity with Citrix or other remote access technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of systems and technologies
- Excellent client service, communication, and listening skills
- Provide technical support by phone, in person, and in writing
- Assist users with software and hardware issues, including escalated support requests
- Configure, install, test, and deploy systems and applications
- Troubleshoot server and network issues, including Office 365 and Microsoft Server environments
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives such as legal project management, SharePoint integration, and office reorganizations
- Maintain accurate records of support interactions and recurring issues
- Prepare user reference materials and provide training on new or unfamiliar systems
- Travel between offices when needed
- Exhibit the ability to be a self-starter who is motivated, flexible, and shows initiative
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Enjoy working with diverse personalities within various levels of the firm
- Are comfortable working in the office three days each week, after training
