Warehouse Operations Manager

Essential Functions

· Responsible for operations of warehouse: Freight, Returns, Receiving, Parcels, Transfers, Safety, Inventory Control, and Transportation.

· Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse Truck Drivers. Lead the Warehouse Team to ship customer orders on time and in full.

· Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, assigning sections to Forklift Drivers to keep their sections well managed with accurate Inventory Count.

· Should be familiar with WMS Software and serve as backup to make entries of receipt and transfers, with all entries before the end of the day.

· Manage Inventory Cycle Count and identify root-cause of major inventory discrepancies and develop & implement procedures to minimize errors.

· Schedule transfers to and from other Warehouses and the Plant Location, ensuring that all Raw Materials and Packaging that are needed to cover Weekly Production Schedule are well planned with transfers and be available well in advance in the Plant meeting schedule.

· Schedule Trucker for Delivery to Customers and some pick-ups from Vendors.

· Manage the verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure that Labels/ packing conditions/ Weight are correct to the Bill of Lading.

· Follow CTPAT rules for any incoming/outgoing Inventory.

· Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

· Conduct weekly meetings with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.

· Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of packages.

· Responsible for the operation of the company’s main warehouse and the operation of the two secondary warehouses in the Orange County area.

· Establish KPI’s for the Shipping & Receiving Department. Do deep dive to identify the causes of deviations to the Operations Plan and provide prompt actions to get aligned with the Department’s goals and KPI’s.

· Lead the safety program in the Warehouse. Do regular walk throughs in the warehouse and dock areas to identify and correct unsafe conditions and unsafe acts. Ensure that the warehouse employees complete the annual safety training.

· Administrate the forklifts fleet. Coordinate the maintenance program for the forklifts in the company.

· Identify repairs needed to maintain the warehouse and surrounding areas in good condition. Issue the proper work orders or purchase requisitions as required.

· Manage the Capital Investment Projects for Shipping and Receiving Department. Identify opportunities to improve the warehousing operation either by proposing and leading continuous improvement projects or by implementing capital investment projects.

Qualifications

· At least 5 Years of experience managing Warehouse Functions of storage, scheduling Transfers from other locations, schedule Truckers for delivery to Customers.

· At least years 5 experience in a warehouse lead role managing employees.

· Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.

· Ability to work with all levels of company staff.

· Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
