Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Executive Management to develop and execute financial and operational plans for the division.
- Set and monitor divisional sales and production goals aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor project budgets, labor utilization, and material costs to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to support bidding and client proposals.
- Manage client relationships and resolve escalated concerns professionally.
- Oversee daily operations including job site management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Safeguard company assets and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
- Conduct monthly team meetings and regular site visits to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate staffing for weekdays, weekends, and special projects, ensuring coverage and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, labor laws and other relevant regulations.
- This role manages all employees within the division, including field crews, foremen, superintendents, business development personnel and administrative support.
- Provide daily coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Partner with HR to manage performance reviews, promotions, disciplinary actions, terminations, recruiting, and other people functions.
- Responsible for onboarding, and development of a high-performing field and administrative team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
- Must regularly travel to and inspect job sites within their region.
- Overnight travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- May occasionally travel for events, trainings or to attend off-site meetings
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Will be subject to ongoing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring to ensure compliance with company insurance and safety standards.
- Must consent to periodic MVR checks as a condition of employment and continued eligibility for driving responsibilities.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
- Random drug testing may be conducted in accordance with company policy and applicable federal and state laws.

Experience, Education, Certifications & Licenses
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education or certifications in construction or project management preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience required.
- 5 years of experience in commercial painting or construction leadership is preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain an OSHA-30 within 3 months of moving into the role.
- Additional safety or project management certifications are a plus.
Environmental Conditions
- Work performed in both an office and field environment.
- Exposure to outdoor environments, paint fumes, and construction noise.
- Flexible work hours: may require early morning, evening or weekend work as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods.
- Frequent use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and climb ladders/scaffolding and navigate construction environments.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 35 lbs. occasionally.
- Must wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety protocols.
