About this Opportunity: We are seeking a PT or FT Associate Veterinarian to help support our busy practice at Harrisonville Animal Clinic. Our Clinic & Services: Located in Harrisonville, MO (on the outskirts of Kansas City), we take pride in providing outstanding veterinary medical care to patients and exceptional service to their owners for more than 31 years! As a full-service small animal clinic, we provide a variety of beneficial services for our patients in the areas of conventional and preventative medicine. We also make sure to emphasize client education to prevent any avoidable medical issues down the road for our patients.
Our clinic is newly renovated as of 2021 and includes many features that enhance our ability to practice the best medicine for all patients. These features include: 7 exam rooms, a separate cat area, a comfort room, a large open treatment area, and surgery suite. We also utilize in-house lab work, UA, Ultrasound, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, and laser therapy.
Our Team & Culture: Our experienced team currently consists of one doctor, three receptionists, six assistants, and three kennel attendants. We have worked hard to create a happy, fun, and face-paced environment to suit the needs of our patients and clients. In addition, we have also taken the time to develop core values in which we do our best to live up to each day - in and outside of the clinic. These are: honesty, empathy, compassion, and kindness. The ideal candidate would maintain and represent these same qualities upon joining our crew!
Job Responsibilities/Requirements: Veterinarian responsibilities include: conducting patient exams, conventional surgeries, various treatments, lab work, emergency care, operating medical equipment, diagnosing illnesses, providing prescriptions, dental care, client advising/educating, and other situations or scenarios involving direct interaction with patients and clients.
Requirements for this role include: possessing a DVM degree (or anticipating one within the next two years), being licensed to practice in Missouri, and submission of a cover letter and resume upon application for this position. The work schedule includes one weekday off and rotating Saturdays.
