Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods, especially during banquets or catering events.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Experience operating cash registers and handling cash transactions efficiently.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in bartending or food service roles.
