Role Description
This is a contract role for a Mental Health Therapist based on-site in Sarasota, FL. The Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting individual and family therapy sessions, and providing case management services. The therapist will work closely with children and teens to address their mental health needs (Intellectual Development Disabilities) and support their journey towards improved well-being.
Qualifications
- Skills in Treatment Planning and Mental Health
- Specialize in Intellectual Development Disability Disorders
- Proficiency in Family Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations is a plus
