Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The Host/Host will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them accordingly
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of specials
- Ensure the dining area is clean and presentable at all times
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner
- Knowledge of proper phone etiquette
- Understanding of basic food service procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
