What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician & General Maintenance position at Haselwood Auto Group?
Perform a variety of electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical generators, transformers, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other equipment. Must be able to work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical systems or electrical equipment. Must be able to perform standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment. Must be proficient in the use of electrician hand tools and measuring and testing equipment. Electrical safety is of paramount importance. Must completely understand the Lock-out-Tag-out program; understand completely the use of required safety tools and equipment and possess the ability to read, interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical system or equipment.
Performs general maintenance and repair at the facility as required.
This position requires experience as a journey level electrician, acquired through training and hold Journey status as well as a valid license as an electrician. The successful candidate must have a valid, unrestricted drivers license, the ability to successfully pass a background and drug check. The position also requires the ability to lift, transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
