Associate Sales Engineer

Hasura is hiring an Associate Sales Engineer to enrich our team! In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our product adoption by empowering users directly and in turn driving the growth of our open source platform

As an Associate Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers throughout their evaluation journey, and serve as the product expert to help connect our solutions with their needs.

You’ll work alongside potential customers, with the support of Hasura product and sales teams and provide technical guidance, solution design, and product demonstrations in order to inspire product activations and purchases.

We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, curious, and motivated. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills. A strong candidate is flexible with change, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and eager to begin a career in presales.

What The Role Will Involve

• As an associate sales engineer, you'll manage and respond to customer questions during customer evaluations and via Zoom
• You'll work across the business to ensure the customer has access to the right team based on their needs, and support sales teams who need assistance answering their customer's product questions
• You will also support selected product demos and assist with customer questions in real-time.
• You’ll join the team at conferences and events to represent Hasura
• Last but not least, you'll uncover ways to improve the way we support our customers and seek out new and different ways to help increase satisfaction, all while doing so in a fun and supportive environment!
  
  

Requirements

• 1 years experience in a customer-facing role
• Empathetic and customer-satisfaction driven
• Experience supporting customers as a subject matter expert, and ability to recall and explain deep product knowledge back to a customer in a way that's concise
• Working knowledge of APIs, REST/GraphQL, and proficiency with some backend engineering languages (Java, NodeJS, Python, etc)
• Familiarity with open-source, App and API development terminology.
• Highly motivated and driven individual who thrives working towards monthly and quarterly quotas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Hasura Office, San Francisco (Hybrid, 3 days in office) or Denver remote
