Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for food preparation following standardized recipes
Create meals according to menu and recipes as set by supervisors
Ensure all food is handled and cooked in a sanitary manner
Maintain kitchen and supply room in a sanitary and organized fashion
Follow plate presentation specifications as directed
Inform supervisors of any kitchen problems
Maintain and promote a team environment at all times
Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all team members
Follow company guidelines and procedures
Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time
Job Requirements
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand up for at least an 8-hour shift
Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment
