SCHEDULE AND WAGE
Monday - Friday varied hours from 6:30 am - 4:00 pm. $23.69 - $25.42 per hour.

Climb in/out of truck beds, cargo vans and trailers using stepladder. Must move 50 pounds regularly in a crouched position.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Completes daily retail rescue routes as assigned.
- Delivers partner agency orders to partner sites based on a weekly schedule.
- Assists warehouse team members in preparing agency orders. Gathers food items as requested by partner agencies. Properly weighs, checks temperatures and records all outgoing products. Loads/stacks food items according to food safety guidelines.
- Maintains a clean and orderly workspace and warehouse based on AIB standards and guidelines. Cleaning and documentation are essential duties of this position.
- Maintains proper storage and distribution of warehouse products in compliance with Feeding America and ABI’s food safety guidelines.
- Unloads incoming products from retail rescue routes, purchased food, USDA shipments and local donations as needed. Properly records necessary information on receiving logs.
- Selects agency orders for distribution as needed.
- Responds to team members, partner agencies and supervisor needs in a timely manner.
- Maintains orders and cleanliness in the food reservoir vehicle and warehouse in compliance with AIB Food Safety Standards.
- Safely transports food products by using the agency vehicle (both donations pick up and deliveries as requested by the supervisor).
- Responsible for tracking proper fuel levels, documenting mileage, and communicating any repairs or vehicle checks needed on vehicles, ties, and equipment used by the Operations/Warehouse Manager.
- Assists in the cycle counting process under supervision of the Inventory Control Manager. Follow all of the warehouse rules and inventory controls according to the FIFO (First In – First Out) system.
- Operates a forklift and electric pallet jack to complete necessary work.
- Responsible for maintaining a positive work attitude with all team members, retail donors, partner agencies, and management staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education And/Or Experience
- One year related experience, preferably in food warehousing and/or delivery.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and customer orders.
- Work experience that demonstrates the ability to follow and communicate instructions.
- Work experience that demonstrates the ability to solve practical problems with flexibility.
- Experience operating a forklift and electric pallet jack.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Car Insurance
- Must pass a Fit for Duty test
- Must complete forklift certification within 30 days
- Must obtain a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement within 180 days
