Position Purpose
The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of medications and supplies to customers / patients.
Position Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and co-workers professionally and appropriately
- Keep records of mileage, vehicle maintenance, fuel, and delivery schedules
- Writ receipts and keep records
- Ensure that vehicle is maintained properly, i.e., working brakes, controls, tire pressure, and fuel on a daily basis
- Drive safely and obeying traffic laws
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Drive in differing weather conditions
- Load and unload goods / medications
- Take direction from the Pharmacy Manager or supervisor
- Comply with Pharmacy policies and regulations
