What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Credentialing Coordinator position at Hayes Medical Staffing, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Develop competency in accurate and timely review of provider applications ensuring that the submitted application meets the initial Hayes requirements.
- Accurately prepopulate provider applications as needed.
- Work in conjunction with our External Credentialing, Licensing and Sales departments to confirm required credentialing information and supporting documents.
- Remain actively in touch with Internal Credentialing Team and Sales consultants throughout the initial intake process.
- Actively seeks guidance, direction, coaching, and feedback from management, peers, and others from a position which assumes positive intent for development and growth.
- Completes work on time; proactively communicating progress and issues to relevant parties.
- Delivers quality outputs consistent with the expectations set forth leadership.
- Holds self-accountable
- Takes ownership for understanding and resolving problems, issues, and questions.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Internal):
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Health Administration or Business.
- Proficient at Microsoft 365 products (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook)
- Experience in Salesforce and MDStaff is a plus
- Highly organized in managing one’s schedule, duties, workflows, and responsibilities
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Able to take direction and apply learning to all other relevant tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
